DEBI DEBI (DEVIL DEVIL)

Overview: Demon Soudo and angel Ios, after a catastrophic battle, wind up
inhabiting the human bodies of twin brothers Souma and Kanna. Both somehow wind
up fighting to defeat various demons that have come to the world as a result of
their battle.
This issue: Soudo/Souma, having regained some of his
devil's powers via the newly-acquired "devil's egg" on his hand, defeats the
female devil who tried to kill him. But he refuses to finish her off. Later,
Mizuno's grandfather reveals to Soudo the secret to returning to full demonhood:
he must fill the "devil's egg" with the souls of defeated demons. Meanwhile,
in the demon world, a powerful figure discusses Soudo's recent victory and
acquisition of the "devil's egg." The agent called forth to retrieve the
"devil's egg" appears to be Soudo's bat-cat. |

NAGISA ME KOUNIN

Overview: Nagisa is a cheerful high school girl who is a brilliant
long-distance runner. She is in love with Masato, a moody runner who is
having trouble adjusting to long-distance races.
This issue: Having wound up in Tokyo to watch a horse
race with Masato's coach, Nagisa and Masato go to a game center, where Nagisa
proves herself to be incompetent at just about every game. Later, at the shore,
Nagisa talks about how Masato's running form has once again become beautiful.
Even later, after Nagisa has to change clothes because she fell into the water,
she wants to know what Masato had earlier said he would tell her if he won the
previous race (which he lost). Masato instead embraces her unexpectedly. |

Overview: Fujimaki Shun is a high school boy who has set his aim for an
Olympic gold medal in gymnastics.
This issue: It is Fujimaki's turn at Japan's Young
Gymnast competition, which is normally only for college competitors. His
reporter fans arrive just in time. On the bar, Fujimaki displays some of
his specialties, but at the very end launches into his secret technique, a
never-before-seen move that is now dubbed "the Fujimaki." |

Minagawa Ryouji

Overview: Takatsuki Ryou has a mysterious right arm that is a powerful and
dangerous weapon. He soon realizes that whatever happened to him is part of
something much bigger.
This issue: Ryou, chased by "X-Army" forces, arrives
home and gets his (adoptive) mother unexpectedly involved in the whole mess when
X-Army invades and she is held at gunpoint. But then, his mother shocks him by
calmly shooting her captor and killing off the other invaders, all the while
smiling and lecturing him on battle tactics. He, to his great surprise,
discovers that she was once a legendary, much-feared mercenary. After the
two escape their apartment, however, Ryou receives a telepathic message showing
him that X-Army has captured his friends.
